Gentle Yoga & Reiki: A 7-Week Grounding Series w/ Mannu & Alicia

  • The Greenhouse 2325 Palos Verdes Drive West Palos Verdes Estates, CA, 90274 United States (map)

Join us Thursdays at 9:15 AM for a gentle 7-week yoga and Reiki grounding series designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and restore balance from the inside out. Each class combines accessible Hatha yoga, breathwork, and restorative Reiki to support the body’s natural ability to release tension, calm the nervous system, and create greater ease in both body and mind. While the series builds progressively week to week, drop-ins are always welcome.

This slow-paced, supportive practice is ideal for beginners, older adults, or anyone seeking a softer, more mindful approach to movement and healing. Each week highlights a different area of the body and energetic center—from grounding through the feet and hips to opening the heart, easing neck and shoulder tension, cultivating mental clarity, and finishing with full-body integration and deep rest.

Thursdays: Beginning May 21st - July 2nd | 9:15 am - 10:15 am

$25 per class

About Mannu

Mannu Chopra is a yoga teacher whose practice is grounded in presence, rhythm, and returning to the body. Her classes are led by breath, moments of stillness, and an emphasis on meeting yourself exactly where you are.

Raised in a Punjabi Sikh household where seva is a way of life, Mannu brings a quiet sense of care and intention into the space she holds. Her approach is less about performance and more about experience—inviting students to move with awareness, listen inward, and build a steady relationship with their practice.

Outside the studio, Mannu is a mother of two and a lifelong student of yoga, shaped by her practice and by time spent in nature.

About Alicia

Alicia Gates is an astrologer, yoga instructor, reiki practitioner, and visual artist. She has been a curious student of yoga since she first opened the Illustrated Book of Yoga in her teens. She curates classes and workshops that are welcoming, heart-centered and compassionate. Alicia grew up in the forests of Vermont and streets of Boston before she and her husband packed up their lives and moved west to California. She is honored and grateful to join the Greenhouse collective and work together with an amazing community of passionate, fun loving individuals.
