Neurogenic Yoga is a gentle, body-based practice that helps your nervous system release stored tension and return to balance. This introductory class is designed for all levels, with no prior yoga experience needed.
In class, we'll:
• Begin with a short grounding and breathwork practice to help you arrive and settle in
• Learn how the practice works and what's happening in your body as tension releases
• Move through simple, supported postures that gently fatigue the large muscles of the legs and hips
• Invite the body's natural tremoring response, at your own pace and comfort level
• Rest in guided stillness to let your system integrate and recalibrate
What you may notice: Some people feel gentle shaking, warmth, tingling, or waves of release. Others feel very little at first, and that's completely normal. There's no right way to experience it. You are always in charge of your pace, and you can pause or rest whenever you need to.
You'll leave feeling: More relaxed, grounded, and connected to your body, with simple tools you can use at home.
What to bring: A yoga mat, a blanket, water, and comfortable clothing you can move in.
Good to know: Wear layers, avoid a heavy meal beforehand, and please let me know in advance if you're pregnant, recovering from an injury, or have any health concerns so we can make sure the practice is right for you.
